Pamela Windle is a Nurse Manager in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) & Surgical Observation Unit (SOU) at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, Houston, Texas. Her experiences included as a staff nurse, educator, head nurse and nurse manager in critical areas, endoscopy, ambulatory outpatient surgery and day surgery center. She has served in numerous leadership roles in several professional organizations. As past president of TNA District 9, TAPAN and ASPAN, her main platform was focus on patient and workplace safety. She has published several articles and has presented numerous presentations, to include the regularly-offered ASPAN Safety seminar.
